Importance of Safety Orientation Training in the Workplace

New and newly reassigned employees are injured at much higher rates in their first months on the job, often because nobody explained the hazards before they started. A safety orientation sets expectations from day one: how to recognize hazards, follow procedures, use protective equipment and report problems. Our Safety Orientation training video gives employees the information they need to help create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace, and Safety Awareness for New Employees covers the wide range of hazards workers may encounter in different tasks and what they need to do to avoid them.

Orientation works best when it reflects the actual workplace, so we offer versions for construction, industrial, transportation and warehouse, food processing and handling and office environments, plus Orientation to Laboratory Safety.
