Understanding the HAZCOM Final Rule

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) first introduced the “Hazard Communication Standard” in 1983. In 2024, OSHA released an update called the “Final Rule”. And every employee that works with or around HAZMATs needs to be familiar with this update.

This course explains what the “Final Rule” is and how it impacts the “Hazard Communication Standard”. It also discusses the changes made to protocols involving hazard classification, safety data sheets, and container labeling.
